Respectful Relationships Education Information for Schools
Schools identify up to four staff across their school to form an RRE Implementation Team. Starick supports these school teams to implement RRE across six key areas:
- Teaching and Learning
- Policy and Practice
- School Culture and Environment
- Community Engagement
- Professional Learning
- Support for Staff and Students
Schools engaged in the program progress through the following components:
- Welcome Call with Starick
- Short e-Learning course
- Workshop 1 – A full-day professional development and planning workshop
- First of two follow-up school visits to provide tailored support
- Workshop 2 – A full-day professional development and planning workshop, approximately six months after Workshop 1
- Second follow-up school visit to provide tailored support
These components span approximately twelve months, with ongoing support beyond these formal program commitments available from Starick, as required. Schools implement initiatives at their own pace that reflect their capacity and priorities. Funding is provided to schools for teacher relief to attend workshops, and for program activities.
